The Product Owner works as part of the Product team to facilitate clear and open communication between Business Owners, Scrum/Development, Quality Assurance, UAT and Product Owners. This role provides a major contribution to enhancing Zelis’ overall capacity to meet the information technology needs of an ever-changing payment integrity market. This resource will also assist with operational readiness, communications, and creation of business processes as needed. Our ideal candidate will have 4+ years of industry experience.Responsibilities:· Prioritizing and maintaining the Product Backlog.· Plan quarterly Work based on Prioritized Backlog.· Translate requirements into User Stories; oversee process of technical requirements for PriZem Platform work.· Ensure execution and delivery on planned work.· Manage the releases for regulatory updates.· Manage releases for delivery.· Monthly release overviews for teams.· Identify ways to automate and streamline process.· Document and clarify requirements as needed for execution of User Stories for Development, QA, UAT (e.g. Flow charts, claim scenarios, examples, etc.).· Act as subject matter expert and assist the team as needed in driving delivery (e.g. Business Analysts, UAT).Qualifications:· HealthCare software experience.· Basic or advanced understanding of payment integrity, claim processing and/or revenue cycle for healthcare claims.· Experience working in an Agile/Scrum framework, including: Creating Workflows/diagrams, User Stories, Enable Stories, Release Notes and User Guides.· Jira, and Confluence experience.· Knowledge of project management techniques, including managing issues, risk mitigation, planning.· Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.· Ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent projects.· Moderate to advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Jira + Confluence.Nice to Haves:· Understanding of medical coding and medical claims.· Project Management experience; ability to drive output from others without direct supervisory responsibility.
