What You Will Do: Senior Data Architect / Modeler, Kenvue Data Platforms is an exciting opportunity to join our growing Data & Analytics product line team! We strive to positively impact the trajectory of personal health every day through powerful data and analytics solutions that drive innovation and unlock growth. You will partner closely with multiple Business partners, Product Owners, Data Strategy, Data Platform, Data Science and Machine Learning (MLOps) teams to drive innovative data products for end users. Additionally, you will help shape overall solution architecture & define models for data products, through best-in-class engineering practices. Working with different stakeholders, you will understand business needs and design/build data models which cater to acquisition, ingestion processes and support critical reporting and insight requirements. Major Duties & Responsibilities: Provide overall leadership for data architecture and modeling in partnership with engineering and platform teams to build next generation product capabilities that drive business growth. Focus on execution & delivery of highly reliable, high-quality data products aimed at maximizing business value. Be an integral part of the data platforms & products team, building and improving next generation data & analytics capabilities within DevSecOps framework. Work closely with the Business Analytics leaders to understand needs of the business, translating the business needs into optimal architecture designs. Design data architecture, scalable & reusable models for various functional areas of data products adhering to “FAIR” principles. Collaborate with data engineers, solution architects and other stakeholders on the data model, maintenance and optimization. Forge trusted partnerships and be an integral part of Data Engineering, Platforms and Data Science teams to architect business relevant data models. Create and maintain Metadata Rules, Data Dictionaries and associated lineage details of the data models. Stay up to date with emerging technologies, guide, and mentor other data modelers in the team. Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in Technology, Computer Science, applied data sciences or other related fields; advanced degree in related fields preferred. Demonstrated strength in examining issues, driving resolution & influencing effectively across the organization. Ability to challenge the status quo in technology & architecture. Superb interpersonal & communication skills (oral and written), including the ability to explain digital concepts and technologies to business leaders, as well as business concepts to technologists. 5+ years of data architecture & modelling experience in Consumer/Healthcare Goods companies and excellent understanding of business domains within the industry. 7+ years of progressive experience in Data & Analytics initiatives with understanding how data architecture & modeling enable data pipelines, data management and analytics. Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in Cloud Architecture (Azure) & cloud-based databases (Synapse, Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift). Expert in designing & developing performance-tuned, reusable & scalable data model standards and data dictionaries. Highly proficient with SQL, Erwin / ER Studio, data modelling techniques and methodologies. Knowledge of noSQL and graphDB databases and modelling approaches is preferred. Hands on experience with data catalogs (Alation, Collibra or similar). Minimum of 5 years of planning and execution using Agile methodology (Scrum/Kanban) within DevSecOps model. Ability to design models to address data challenges: different granularity, data gaps, sophisticated matching logic, multi-language, structured & unstructured; harmonization & normalization of data. Proven track record of leading multiple high-profile projects with demanding deadlines, changing requirements, and working with defined resources.
