We are seeking a skilled React & JavaScript Developer to join our team for an exciting project involving mapping technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience with GeoJSON parsing, mapping applications

Key Responsibilities:

- Parse GeoJSON data and integrate it into mapping applications.

- Develop front-end components using Next.js and TypeScript.

- Utilize Mapbox technologies for mapping functionalities.

- Implement server-side rendering and API integration.

- Collaborate with the team on database optimization using Postgres.

- Write efficient JavaScript/TypeScript code for both front-end and back-end functionalities.

Requirements:

- Proficiency in React and JavaScript/TypeScript development.

- Experience with GeoJSON parsing and mapping technologies.

- Familiarity with Next.js and server-side rendering.

- Knowledge of database optimization techniques, particularly with Postgres.

- Strong understanding of API integration and front-end development best practices.

- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

- Experience with Supabase for database.

- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest and Cypress.

- Knowledge of SQL and database optimization principles.

- Comfortable working with mapping shape files and server-side image generation.

Note: Previous experience with GeoJSON and mapping technologies is essential for this role. We are looking for candidates who can hit the ground running and contribute effectively to our project from day one.
