JD- Associate Manager - Purchase (Alwar unit)
Responsibilities
- Material Panning for Raw & Packaging materials against Export Orders and RDP.
- Rate Negotiations & Finalization of Purchase Orders.
- Laisoning with Export team, CSCC, Packaging Development Department and DRDC to resolve different issues.
- Expediting with Vendors for schedule delivery of Raw & packaging materials, to meet the Production plan & dispatch dates.
- Co-ordinates PPC & Production department for better planning to reduce change overs.
- New Vendor selection & Development as per need.
- SLOB & Inventory Management. Expediting with Export team / CSCC to provide consumption plan of non-moving materials to reduce SLOB & increase ITR.
- Preparing MIS for review (SLOB, Vendor rating) & corrective measures.
- Ensure savings on procurement of decentralized materials.
- Co-ordinates with Vendor & QA Department to reduce line rejections & resolve quality issue of materials.
- Co-ordinate with external Auditors for audits & submit reply for their query.
- Motivate, develop & train subordinates to enhance their skill & capability to take bigger responsibilities.
- Involvement in overhead budgetary control systems & Capax procurement & monitoring.
- Logistic co-ordination & management for incoming raw & packaging materials.
Qualifications and experience
- MBA/PG
- Strong negotiation skills
- 5 -10 years' of relevant purchase experience
