Job Description:
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
As a Software Project Manager at Intellect Design Arena, you will play a key role in overseeing and managing software development projects from initiation to completion. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans outlining scope, objectives, timelines, resources, and budget requirements.
2. Agile Methodology: Implement agile project management methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban to facilitate iterative development and quick delivery of software increments.
3. Team Management: Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, testers, and stakeholders, to allocate resources effectively and ensure smooth project execution.
4. Requirements Analysis: Work closely with clients and business stakeholders to gather and analyze project requirements, prioritize features, and define project deliverables.
5. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to proactively address challenges and minimize project disruptions.
6. Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate clear and timely communication with project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and risks.
7. Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures, including code reviews, testing, and quality assurance processes, to ensure that deliverables meet established standards and client expectations.
8. Change Management: Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and requirements, ensuring that any deviations are properly documented and communicated to stakeholders.
9. Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular progress reports, status updates, and documentation to track project milestones, budget expenditures, and resource allocations.
10. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and best practices adoption to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a software project manager, with a track record of successfully delivering software projects on time and within budget.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, agile principles, and project management best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as JIRA, Trello, or Asana.
- PMP certification or Agile certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster) are a plus
-Should be flexible for Jaipur or Delhi/NCR
- Lead a team of 25+ members
- Acted as a key account manager for large clients (Govt. client handling if done would be a plus.)
-eCommerce, eProcurement experience mandatory
