Role: Programming PLCs for Biopharma Operations; Enabling Handshaking with Third Party Systems / SCADA; Debugging-&-Troubleshooting at Customers' Site / Standardization of Programming in Process Sequences Education Qualification: BE / BTech ( Instrumentation & Electronics ) / (Electrical & Electronics) / (Electrical & Telecommunication) Years of Experience: 6 - 8 years Travel Requirement: If required Accountable and Responsible for : 1) Should have Functional Expertise in Designing, Developing & Troubleshooting of Programmes from the given Schematic Diagrams OR Logic Flow Diagrams on various production environs of BioProcess / BioPharma Operations to achieve the desired output. 2) Should combine his/her knowledge of Automation Software and Programming Languages to write executable Programs for BioProcess/ Biopharma Operations for --- PLC in Ladder Diagram (LD), Sequential Functional Charts (SFC), Functional Block Diagram (FBD) & Structured Text (ST). Distributed Control System (DCS) in FBD. Reporting (SQL Server Reporting Services, Historian, Vantage Point, Visual Basic Analysis & Crystal) in SQL & VBA Scripting. Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition (SCADA) for Industrial Automation. Database Management System. Engineering Systems (RS232 / RS485 / Ethernet / Profinet / Profibus / FF / OPC Communication) AND thereafter, Document the Development Process, the Intent of the Project and Create a Manual of Instructions to ensure the safety of users. 3) Consequent to activities at Sr # 2 above having been developed and tested, he/she should fully integrate the Developed Programmes with the physical mechanisms on which these Programmes will work by executing or overseeing the installation of Programmes. He/she should also Guide and Support other technicians and Train them to operate the Programmes safely and efficiently . Beyond installation, he/she is also expected to extend services towards continued technicalsupport and maintenance of the systems. He/she should do this in a written format by updating instruction and operation manuals or verbally by talking to users and solving issues. He/she should, if need arises, also perform a range of troubleshooting activities to diagnose and address issues related to PLCs and their usage. 4) Should be Proficient & Hands-on in --- Siemens --- all S7 Series of PLCs, PCS7, I/O Interfaces, HMIs, WINCC Explorer, Totally Integrated Automation (TIA), Historian & Simatic Manager. Allen Bradley --- PLCs, HMIs, FT SCADA, FT Batch, FT Historian, Asset Centre & 'ThinManager'. SQL Server ReportingServices (SSRS) & SQL based Reporting. Visual Basic Analysis (VBA) Scripting. Project Management Skills --- at least the basic principals & practices. 5) Participate in and Ensure error-free and smooth demonstration of the Developed Programmes in the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and, if required, in the Site Acceptance Test (SAT) either On-site or Off-site.
