Engineer - EV Function Safety

We are seeking a highly skilled Electric Vehicle Functional Safety Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess specialized skill sets in electric vehicle (EV) technologies and functional safety knowledge, coupled with significant professional experience in the EV industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Expertise in Electric Vehicle Technologies:

• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of EV architectures, including proficiency in battery packs, battery management systems (BMS), traction inverters, and E-Drive systems.
• Display familiarity with the design, operation, and integration of these components within the EV ecosystem.

• Functional Safety Knowledge:

• Possess profound knowledge of functional safety standards relevant to electric vehicles, such as ISO 26262 (Road vehicles – Functional safety) and IEC 61508 (Functional Safety of Electrical/Electronic/Programmable Electronic Safety-related Systems).
• Apply functional safety principles in the context of EV systems and components, including hazard analysis, risk assessment, and the development of safety cases.

Required Experience:

• 5 to 10 years of professional experience in the EV industry, with a focus on electric vehicle design or safety engineering.
• Proven track record of applying functional safety standards and practices in real-world EV projects.

Additional Qualifications:

• Professional certifications in functional safety (e.g., CFSP – Certified Functional Safety Professional or TÜV Rheinland Functional Safety Engineer) and electric vehicle technology are highly beneficial.
