We are looking for someone who can be a part of our online team in the Indian Market. Responsibilities

  • Developing, monitoring, writing and updating product content contained on Shopify based eCommerce websites/portals.
  • Developing subject matter expertise in assigned product categories and taking ownership of daily business administration on assigned accounts.
  • Planning and styling shoots, working with graphics team/social media team
  • Cultivating standards, systems and best practices for distribution & maintenance of new product listings.
  • Working with product management, sales, graphics, and other relevant departments to provide updated content for assigned accounts to be shared across eCommerce platforms.
  • Having the ability to multi-task, prioritize and successfully meet several deadlines at once while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Possessing a strong knowledge of the eCommerce space including competitive strategies, marketing strategies, product development, consumer research, usability best practices and industry trends.
  • Using Spreadsheets or Excel (pivot tables, vlookups etc) in addition to web analytics to stay organized and monitor changes in product sales and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with copy and production design teams as needed to create site assets for site refreshes and promotion.
  • Manage a team with content writer, in-house photographer and liase with other internal departments including Sales, Finance & Operations.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree must, marketing/content/creative experience is an add on
  • 1-5 years of experience in digital marketing, with expertise in LinkedIn marketing, content marketing, SEO, PR agencies, Facebook social media, Google AdWords, blog writing, creating posts, and organic marketing
  • Performance marketing experience an added advantage
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices
  • Strong interpersonal skills: Very good communication and negotiating abilities as well as high presentation, ability for motivating others.
  • High degree of commercial and business acumen knowledge (e.g. sales, retail, trade marketing, customer service, finance in an e-commerce environment)
  • High level of integrity and trust.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools, analytics tools, and content management systems
