Job descriptionKey Roles and Responsibilities: - Develop and execute sales strategies for each sub-category and state to achieve monthly sales targets (value and volume). - Ensure revenue targets from new product launches are met as per AOP. - Drive incremental revenue through distributor expansion. - Conduct distributor calls as per the agreed plan, reviewing call cycles and reporting on stock orders. - Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors to drive regional sales growth. - Work closely with distributors to develop and execute annual plans for promotions, advertising campaigns, and retailer meets. - Provide merchandising assistance and advice to distributors to maximize sales. - Motivate and lead Area Sales Managers (ASMs) and Sales Officers (SOs) to achieve coverage, distribution, and display objectives. - Cascade targets for the team and provide necessary support, coaching, and training. - Recruit and develop team members, ensuring a talent pipeline for business continuity. - Oversee the creation of monthly/weekly/daily sales plans for each distributor and sub-category. - Track and minimize outstanding payments at the end of each month. - Drive distributor and retailer engagement to increase participation in promotions and engagement programs. - Ensure adherence to key sales processes and timely reviews as per the sales governance model.
