Job Title: Business Development Manager (Equipment Leasing)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Business Development Manager to join our team. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving business growth, identifying new opportunities, and expanding our customer base in the equipment leasing market in large corporate B2B sectors in India. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a proven track record of success in business development within the equipment leasing industry.


Responsibilities:


1. Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business development objectives and revenue targets.

2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within highly rated corporates (AA/AAA) target industries, including IT, manufacturing, healthcare, transportation, Renewable Energies and others.

3. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, industry associations, and referral partners.

4. Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunities in the equipment leasing market.

5. Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and pitches to prospective clients.

6. Negotiate leasing agreements and contracts with clients, ensuring favourable terms and conditions for the company.

7. Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics and other key documents and provide regular reports to the senior management.

8. Stay up to date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and market trends affecting the equipment leasing sector.

9. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.

10. Should be able to maintain lead agreements and be responsible for end-to-end solutions for new vendors.

11. Coordinate and supervise both internal and external stakeholders.


Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field. MBA preferred.

2. Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in business development, sales, alliances or related roles including 3-5 years mandatory experience within the corporate banking or equipment leasing or finance services in large corporates.

3. Strong understanding of Corporate Balance Sheets, financial concepts, and market dynamics.

4. Proven track record of success in identifying and closing large corporates deals in financial sectors.

5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

6. Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.

7. Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed targets.

8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite especially in Excel and Ppt.

9. Proficiency in Finance modelling and Business Planning.

10. Willingness to travel locally and regionally as needed.
