The position is based out of India and this person will support to Head of Business finance in the areas of driving financial performance management, budgeting & forecasting, month-end closure activities & maintaining strong relationship with the key stakeholders.Key Job Responsibilities:Lead the Business Finance function for business unit in Middle East, determine local business finance priorities and provide support in implementing globally aligned finance policies & processes.Understand stakeholder’s expectation, build strong relationship, and collaborates effectively with Middle East teams.Maintain strong business acumen and financial credibility to work as trusted business controlling.Manage team of finance professionals (3 FTEs located geographically) and provide effective leadership for increasing their competencies and performances.Perform financial planning and track continued development of Budget, Financial forecasting, and Operating plan for assigned business unit.Perform month end closure activities and coordination with accounting team for timely closure of books of accounts.Perform detailed review of the financial performance of business unit and provide quality assurance of the internal monthly reporting.Provide analysis and commentary on actual performance of the business unit w.r.t. Budgets/forecast.Review and control overall financial performance of projects, project profitability and order book.Advising project execution team on the financial aspects of the projects.Provide support in working capital management, monitoring cash & invoicing report and highlight likely slippages in cash flow forecasts.Provide support in developing and implementing controls, review, and checklists to ensure adequate processes regarding financial reporting are in place.Other responsibilities include but not limited to participate in special projects and system enhancements as assigned.QualificationsKey requirements:Strong experience of 8 to 10 years in financial controlling. The relevant working experience in consulting business would be an added advantage.Expert in the management accounting/business finance/business acumenPeople management including experience of managing cross culture & virtual teams.High performer with good prioritizing skillsMBA in Finance or Chartered AccountantExcellent English language skills (written and oral)Knowledge of SAP/Oracle or other similar financial softwareMS Excel & Power point skills at Expert level, Knowledge of Power BI would be an added advantage.
