Roles & Responsibilities

Desired Qualification+ Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Electrical, Instrumentation engineering or other related discipline

or equivalent education and experience. MBA will be added advantage.

6+ Years of Experience in Azure Data Lake, Power BI,, Reporting and Analytics, IT, OT, Industrial Manufacturing, Industrial software and Applications providing industry.

Industry Type Exposure

Core Skill: IT Applications &Services / Industrial Software Products & Solutions Provider

Preferred Industry vertical: Steel / Energy or Power / Manufacturing

Roles & Responsibilities:

The position assumes the role of driving Digital Projects across plant locations and reports to GM-

Digital Officer. Should be able to design Digital solutions and support in implementation. Should be

able to quantify business benefits for the same.

Technical Must Requirement:

 Identify and provide Digital solutions to key business challenges and drive tangible business

value (volume or cost gains) Or increase productivity Or improve ESG (Environment, Social

and Governance) and Safety practices

 Work with business and technology teams (Internal development team, Business users and

external partners) to outline digital solution and implementation plan

 Qualify, prioritize critical KPIs / metrics that shall reflect gains due to digital intervention

 Must have experience in understanding IT – OT landscape and exposure to Industry4.0

technology ( AI/ML, Cloud, Blockchain, Drone, IoT solutions)

 Must have experience in working with multiple OT (Operations Technology) systems, Plant

Control Systems, SCADA, MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), Model predictive

Control, Historians and other suite of L3 level of applications focusing on planning/

execution and optimization.

 Understanding the requirement of business users & propose Digital solutions for achieving

the same. Should be able to quantify business benefits.

Need Requirement:

 Should have experience in Logistics Control Tower Automation, Supplier Management

System (SRM), Supply Chain Management System (SCM), Customer Relationship

Management (CRM), Dealer Management System (DMS), Order Management System

(OMS) and B2B/ B2C channels through e-commerce.

 Should have exposure on HR, Finance, Quality, Procurement Functional workflow and

automation

 Knowledge on Cloud related services will be additional advantage.

 Proactively manage and monitor different aspects of the program i.e. analyze, design,

implementation, change management and sustainability.

 Need to have program management experience (Cost, Quality and Schedule) and support

to ensure program runs on time, budget and achieves intended impact i.e. metrics

improvement, adoption in business and focus on value realization

 Help debottleneck issues on the ground by participating in change management, serve as

point of escalation

 Enable and govern relationships with external partners / vendors
