Sr. Programmer Analyst (PeopleSoft Dev) [T500-**]

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain PeopleSoft applications using PeopleCode, SQR, and SQL.
  • Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system stability and performance.
  • Conduct testing activities, including unit testing, system testing, and regression testing.
  • Perform data analysis, data validation, and data manipulation using SQL queries.
  • Develop and optimize Unix scripts for automation and management of batch processes.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and end-users to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Support QA activities as needed, including test plan creation, test case execution, and defect management.
  • Participate in Agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
  • Maintain documentation for development processes, code changes, and system configurations.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members as needed.


Must-Have Skills:

  • PeopleSoft : PeopleCode, SQR, SQL, Production Support, Testing , Unix
  • Unix and 1 Automic Workload Administration are nice to have.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • This is a Development focus role, on-call production support & QA activities to be performed on a need basis


Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 modules, payroll, and additional testing expertise.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Understanding of QA processes and testing frameworks.
  • Knowledge of data analysis, data validation, and reporting tools.


Minimum Qualification:

  • Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in computer science, engineering, or information systems and/or equivalent formal training or work experience.
  • 6-9 years qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment.
  • A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements.
