Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a New Product Development Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to new product development, which involves,
- Analyzing customer's drawing to understand the requirements.
- Preparing a production/process flow chart based on product requirement.
- Generating CNC programs for turning & VMCs using CAD /CAM.
- Preparing tool layout based on the program generated.
- Setting up the machine with the help of the team.
- Proving out parts as per drawing specifications & handover the project for serial production.
- Interacting with raw material & tool suppliers,
- Interacting with subcontractors.
Qualifications.
- Degree/Diploma in mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong background in mechanical engineering
- Experience in NPD
- Knowledge of product development processes
- Proficiency in product design
- Experience with CAD and other design software
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Experience in CNC machining field.
