Role :

  • This is a leadership position in the Data and Analytics group.
  • He/ She will be leading the global delivery team to build a highly scalable and extensible Analytics/ Data Science/ Data Engineering team that provides the foundation for collecting, storing, modelling, and analysing massive data sets from multiple channels
  • · The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in delivery management, project planning, resource planning, delivery quality, maintain margins and customer satisfaction
  • This is a Data analytics & engineering leadership role for a strong leader that loves to operate in trenches with the team
  • He / She will be an integral part of the core group which will work towards the growth of the company.
  • He/she will nurture a diverse team including a range of activities from hiring, guiding and evaluating performance
  • Leveraging thought leadership to design solutions that solve complex problems for customer, hence growing accounts


Responsibilities:

Business focus

  • Strategic mind set: You are planning for growth of account and scale up the account with
  • reasonable investments.
  • Handle budget planning, spend and tracking for your area of responsibility.
  • Set up the organization & processes to enable timely delivery of projects with high quality.


Customer focus

  • Prior consulting industry experience for North America or European geographies
  • Set customer expectations and outperform them with delivery.
  • Interface daily with customers across leading Fortune 500 companies to understand strategic requirements
  • Travel to client Locations


Delivery

  • You would be required to own customer deliverables and ensure, along with project managers, that the project schedules are in line with the expectations set to the customers
  • Partner with delivery team to collate, analyse and present data and drive clear
  • Insights to lead decisions that improve KPIs.


People management

Team building

  • Identify the right talent to build the team to solve customer problems
  • Build a training program to help tailor the talent for project success

Mentorship

  • Mentor & grow Engineering Managers & Technical Project Managers to leadup these individual units.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to less-experienced team members.

Technical Focus

  • Management knowledge in data system development, software development, deployment. Ability to dive into details with engineers and distil to a high level for executives, customers and non-technical audience.
  • Oversee Architecture & design of technically robust, flexible and scalable solutions.
  • Align with Technical leadership to influence, guide & champion adoption of best practices to build scalable architecture though process
  • Experience in defining technical requirements for data extraction, data transformation, automating jobs, productionizing jobs, and exploring new Data and Analytics technologies within a Parallel Processing environment


Qualifications:

  • 18+ years of overall experience with a minimum of 10+ years in Data Analytics/ Data Science execution
  • Experience in Cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP)
  • Demonstrable leadership, superior problem solving and people management skills with an ability to blend creativity and logical thought to innovatively think through a problem and develop solutions
  • Experience owning P&L targets
  • Experience in providing strategic perspective/guidance on analytical solutions in relevant domains
  • Demonstrable sustained client relations management experience at a C-suite level or operated at a senior management level in the industry role
  • Experience in building, leading & managing large multi-engineer projects and mentoring top-notch engineers in consulting companies


Desired Skills:

  • Experience in influencing senior stakeholders, whether business or technical
  • 10+ years of hands-on management experience
  • Process Improvement or Project Management experience
