Every single mission from Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) SHAR, Sriharikota, India's Missile Test Range, Integrated Test Range (ITR), Chandipur and the Flight Test Centre (FTC) in India uses software developed by Engineers at LaunchTrax for better mission readiness.


Job Responsibilities: 

Design and Development:   Design, develop, and test electronic systems and components for UAVs/AUVs, 

including control systems, navigation systems, communication systems, and payload integration. 

System Integration:  Integrate electronic systems with mechanical and software components to ensure seamless operation and compatibility with the overall autonomous system design. 

Troubleshooting and Debugging: Identify and resolve electronic system issues through troubleshooting, debugging and root cause analysis. 

Performance Optimization:  Optimize electronic systems for performance, reliability, weight, and power 

consumption to meet operational requirements and constraints. 

Compliance and Standards:  Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and certification requirements for UAVs according DGCA standards. 

Collaboration:  Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical engineers, software engineers, and 

aerospace engineers, to achieve project goals and objectives. 

Documentation:  Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and reports, to

document electronic system designs, analyses, and test results.

 

Qualifications and Skills: 

Education:  Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, 

or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications may be preferred for senior positions. 

Experience: 

3- 5 years of experience in electronic system design, development and testing. Preferably in the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle/Autonomous Underwater Vehicle industry. 

Familiarity with AUV/UAV platforms and applications is advantageous. 

Technical Skills:  Proficiency in electronic circuit design, PCB layout, microcontroller programming, digital signal 

processing, RF communication, and embedded systems development. 

Analytical Skills:  Strong analytical and problem - solving skills to analyze complex electronic systems, identify issues, and propose effective solutions.  

Communication:  Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate effectively with team 

members, present technical information, and document design decisions and outcomes. 

Attention to Detail:  Attention to detail and accuracy in design, testing, and documentation to 

ensure the reliability and safety of UAV electronic systems. 

Adaptability:  Ability to adapt to changing project requirements, priorities, and timelines in a 

fast-paced and dynamic environment. 

Teamwork:  Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate 

effectively with team members from diverse backgrounds and disciplines.
