Looking for a textile designer for creating prints through softwares and manually for women and kids fashion apparels and accessories brand. Someone who can think out of the box , can experiment and give us exclusivity.
Should be good at using different mediums to create surface textures, should be crafty & arty.
Location: Goregaon West, Mumbai
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE-
- Aesthetically have a very good hand in designing prints and using different physical and digital means to create artworks.
- Fabric knowledge and dealing with printing mills.
- Hand embroideries and embellishments
- Designing garments and accessories
Responsibilities
- Conducting market research to identify new trends, fabrics and techniques, and seeking design inspiration.
- Collaborating with team members to select seasonal themes, make edits to line, and create new concepts.
- Creativity: Strong sense of color, texture and form with in-depth working knowledge of fabrics/materials, prints, embroidery, and garment construction.
- Passion: Must love fashion and familiarity with the European, East Asian and American fairs, forecasts and brands; willing to roll-up their sleeves to meet short deadlines.
- Responsible for all graphics related work for website, social media as well.
- Technical Know How: Proficient in print making softwares Adobe Illustrator or procreate & Photoshop as well as MS Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel).
- Ambiguity: Comfortable working in a fast-paced start-up environment.
Qualifications
Bachelors in Textile design or Fashion design from reputed institutes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
