About the Role: In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for the overall commercial performance of our store. You will play a key role in driving sales, managing staff, and ensuring smooth financial operations, all while upholding the high standards of the Senco Gold & Diamonds brand. Responsibilities: Commercial Operations: Develop and implement strategies to achieve ambitious sales targets. Conduct market research, analyze trends, and create sales plans to maximize revenue. Cashiering & Payment Reconciliation: Oversee all cash handling procedures, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies. Reconcile daily transactions and maintain meticulous financial records. Compliance Management: Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and ensure the store adheres to all legal and ethical standards. Implement robust internal controls to mitigate risk. Store Operations: Manage the day-to-day operations of the store, including staff scheduling, inventory control, and customer service. Foster a positive and productive work environment for your team. Expenses Management: Monitor and control store expenses. Identify areas for cost optimization and implement strategies to maximize profitability. Profit & Loss (PnL) Responsibility: Prepare and analyze monthly P&L statements. Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance store profitability. Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of experience in a commercial role within the retail jewellery industry. Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving revenue growth. Strong understanding of financial management principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and retail management software. In-depth knowledge of jewellery and the Senco Gold & Diamonds brand (a plus).
