Position Overview:
We seek a motivated and experienced Career Coach to join our EdTech platform and provide personalized career guidance to learners seeking to enhance their professional development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in career counseling, coaching skills, and a passion for leveraging technology to support career growth.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual career coaching sessions with learners to assess their career goals, soft skills, and areas for improvement.
- Develop customized career plans, self-paced content and strategies tailored to each learner's aspirations, leveraging our platform's resources.
- Provide guidance on resume writing, interview preparation, networking, and job search strategies in alignment with industry trends.
- Utilize data-driven insights and assessments available on our platform to help learners identify suitable career paths and job opportunities.
- Collaborate with our learning content team to create career-focused modules, workshops, and resources for learners.
- Monitor learner progress, track milestones, and provide ongoing feedback and support to ensure goal attainment.
- Facilitate group | Individual coaching sessions, webinars, and virtual career fairs to enhance learners' professional skills and industry knowledge.
- Stay updated on the trends, career development best practices, and job market insights to deliver relevant and timely guidance.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting networking, mentorship, and collaboration among learners.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of career coaching programs, gather learner feedback, and suggest improvements to enhance learner outcomes.
- Should be able to customize inputs for career sessions ( individual & groups) as per the course specialization ( Management , DevOps , Data science , Finance , Product Management) to maintain relevancy.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in career counseling, education, human resources, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
● Proven experience as a career coach, counselor, or advisor, preferably in an EdTech or online learning environment.
● Strong understanding of career development theories, coaching methodologies, and digital tools for career management.
● Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and motivate learners.
● Familiarity with platforms, career assessment tools, learning management systems, and online collaboration tools.
● Certified Career Coach credentials (e.g., CCSP, CPCC, CCMC) or relevant coaching certifications are a plus.
● Experience in curriculum development, workshop facilitation, or content creation for career-related topics.
● Passion for leveraging technology and data analytics to enhance the career coaching experience for learners.
