In this role, the Snowflake Architect is responsible for providing technical direction and lead a group of one or more developer to address a goal. Job Description: Should have experience in IT industry. Strong experience in building data warehouse, data lake, and data mart end-to-end implementation experience focusing on large enterprise scale implementations and Snowflake implementations on any of the hyper scalers (AWS/Azure/GCP). Able to create the high level and low-level design document based on requirement. Strong experience with building productionized data ingestion and processing data pipelines in Snowflake Good to have experience on any other cloud data warehouses like Redshift, Databrick platform, Azure synapse, BigQuery Proficiency in data warehouse and Insights design patterns on cloud, consulting ability and solution design experience. Deep technical knowledge on Snowflake migration Strategy, automation of migration from other source system to Snowflake and provide optimal solution approaches to customer requirements. Prior experience in interactions with Customer Architects and Team/Delivery leaders and vendor teams. Independently create the design and data modelling. Implementing network policy and data security, cost optimization, resource monitoring by applying Snowflake best practices. Have experience to perform some DBA activities in Snowflake. Snowflake SnowPro Advanced Architect or Core Certification will be an added advantage. Responsibilities: Strong understanding on Business and technical problem, Analysing and end-to-end technical architecture including solution strategy & design covering large scale data transformation and performance and other non-functional needs. Strong knowledge, proficiency in Snowflake features, analytical processing, ETL/ELT tools (Talend, Matillion etc.) frameworks and data models. Snowflake integration knowledge with different BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, MicroStrategy etc.) Familiarity/experience in any one of the programming languages Python, Java. Orchestration and scheduling tools experience like Apache Airflow and equivalent. Familiarity with data warehouse concepts like Identity and access management, scheduling/orchestration, logging/monitoring, data security & encryption. Fair understanding of agile and DevOps concepts/methodology, processes like CI/CD Thought leadership in realm of cloud data services. Create POCs, roadmaps, solution architecture, estimations & implementation plan Experience for Snowflake integrations with other data processing. Mentoring team for Snowflake skillsets Familiarity/experience in Data Governance Skill Matrix: Snowflake, Python/PySpark, AWS/Azure/GCP, ETL, Data Modeling, Design Patterns, Data Warehousing concepts. Minimum Qualifications B.E./ Masters in Computer Science, Information technology, or Computer engineering or any equivalent degree with total IT experience and minimum relevant working experience as Snowflake Architect. Preferred Qualification Good to have DBT experience
