Position: Business Development Manager


Profile Description:


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager with a background in the finance industry hedge funds, to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding our market presence through strategic partnerships, client acquisition, and relationship management within the financial sector.


Required Skills & Qualification:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field. MBA or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development or sales within the finance industry, with a focus on hedge funds, or asset management.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong network of contacts within the finance industry and a demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities, develop actionable plans, and execute effectively.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a high degree of initiative and drive.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share in the finance industry.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including institutional investors, asset managers, hedge funds, and financial advisors.
  • Lead the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and qualifying leads to negotiating and closing deals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions and proposals to meet client needs.  Stay informed about market trends, industry regulations, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and market insights to senior management.
  • Contribute to the development of marketing materials, presentations, and collateral to support business development efforts.
