Lead Software Development Backend Node.js

As a Team Lead at DAZN, you will be part of the Payment team, expected to play a critical role in the development of our internal Payment Gateway supporting various payment options depending on the country, such as credit cards, debit cards, local wallets, and carrier billing etc.. You will work closely with a team of developers and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software that meets business requirements. Key Responsibilities: As our new Lead Software Development (Experience 8+ years), you will have the opportunity to: As a Team Lead you will be leading the team, be technical and hands on, driving the technical approach for the team and assisting the Engineering Manager with planning, responsible for delivery of the team with the quality code within the agreed timelines. Design and develop web applications, micro services using , and cloud Collaborate with other team members, architects to ensure software meets business requirements and is delivered on time Write clean, maintainable, and testable code Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members Develop and maintain project plans and schedules Identify and troubleshoot software defects and issues Participate in the agile development process, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Stay up to date with industry trends and technologies. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree with minimum of 8+ years of software development experience in commercial, enterprise-level product environments Expertise in building Backend services using NodeJS Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery experience. Experience building scalable cloud-based applications that handle high loads Experience of SQL, NoSQL databases like DynamoDB, Redis Cache, MySQL Awareness/experience of Cloud Platforms AWS/Azure Experience with Unit testing framework like JUnit, Mockito. Experience with Server back end and API/Service development. Experience with all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle, including system analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation. Nice to have: Familiarity with Fintech technologies Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes Infrastructure as code. Service Monitoring. At DAZN, we bring ambition to life.
