Title: Senior .NET Backend Engineer Based: 100% Remote CET Time Zone Type: Contract Duration: June – September Who are we? About the role: We are currently looking for talented .Net Backend Engineer to join our team on a 100% remote basis, working CET time zone. You will join our existing Backend team and play an integral role in the expansion of an important project for Ovyo. You will be experienced with C, C++ and .NET Core 8.0 and have a strong understanding of media workflows Responsibilities: Utilise your experience with media workflows to integrate via API’s between the clients own play out automation system and 3rd party play out servers. Deliver back-end solution built with wide range of modern technologies. Design and build new features. Collaborate with others on resolving any issues. Continuous integration and deployment Permanently improve all aspects of delivery Work as part of an Agile team. Requirements Experienced with .Net Core 8.0 Experience with C, C++ Strong understanding of Mediawork flows REST APIs using Web API NoSQL databases (preferably MongoDB) SQL, RDBMS (preferably MS SQL) High-performance and scaled services Microservices and Event-Driven architecture Cloud technologies (ideally AWS) Docker, containers, Kubernetes (ideally hosted in ECS/EKS) Unit/Integration/Component Tests Familiarity with some HTTP and caching Familiarity with Git versioning, Agile methodologies, and XP practices (TDD, Pair Programming, Refactoring, YAGNI)
