Founded in 2002, Alcentra is one of the largest European headquartered credit and private debt managers, with over $35 billion of assets under management and global expertise in Senior Secured Loans, High Yield Bonds, Private Credit, Structured Credit, Special Situations and Multi-Strategy credit. Alcentra’s objective is to deliver strong, risk-adjusted returns that are less correlated, through a complementary suite of traditional and alternative credit strategies. In pursuing this objective, the investment strategy and approach to credit selection are based on intensive fundamental research and credit analysis, combined with active portfolio management to minimize credit losses.The successful candidate will be employed as a Fund Controller in the Structured Credit Operations team. The role encompasses Fund Accounting, Investor Reporting, and Data Management oversight. The candidate must be well versed in accounting principles, and have experience in Performance Return calculations. Knowledge of both Closed Ended and Open Ended Funds, together with Alternative Credit (in particular Structured Credit) asset classes is also advantageous.What are the ongoing responsibilities of Fund Administration & Oversight Senior Analyst? Fund Accounting – preparation of fund NAVs and reconciliation to third party administrators, including balance sheets and profit & loss.Audit – working with third party administrators to oversee the financial statement audit process and ensure successful completion of audits.Performance Returns – calculation and analysis of portfolio, share-class, fund and investor-level performance (including TWRs, IRR, MOICs etc.) and portfolio attribution.Reporting – preparation and review of regulatory and investor reporting.Fees and Expenses – calculation and review of management fee and performance/incentive fees. Monitoring fund expenses and calculating fund TERs.Data – ensuring accuracy of data in the Front Office Systems and Data Warehouse.Liquidity Management – assist the team with subscription line drawings, investor capital calls, investor distributions call and investor subscriptions/redemptions.Projects - working alongside our project management team to assist with projects focusing on operational enhancements.The successful candidate will be a problem solver, dynamic, resourceful and responsive with the highest standards and professionalism.Alcentra has a culture that values new thinking.
