Data Management Lead || Gurgaon US hours

HCL is hiring for Data Management Lead, for Gurgaon Location & US hours! Data Management Lead Responsibilities: The data management role is envisioned as a fusion of Business and Data Analytics, thus necessitating a stronger emphasis on predictive modeling. A minimum of 12 years of experience is required. Spearhead the formulation and execution of an all-encompassing data management strategy aimed at ensuring data quality, accessibility, security, and governance. Provide oversight across the entire data lifecycle, encompassing data collection, ingestion, storage, processing, analysis, and archiving. Develop and uphold data management policies, standards, and protocols to uphold data integrity and regulatory compliance. Advocate for data governance initiatives to reinforce data integrity and regulatory adherence. Lead and mentor a team of data analysts and specialists, fostering a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement. Identify and deploy data management solutions and tools to enhance data efficiency and efficacy. Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to discern data requirements and translate them into actionable data strategies. Design and execute training programs to impart best practices in data management and enhance data literacy among employees. Monitor and analyze data quality metrics, proactively identifying and remedying data quality issues. Collaborate with IT counterparts to ensure that the infrastructure and security architecture adequately support data management needs. Remain abreast of industry trends and advancements in data management technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation. Qualifications: Minimum 12+ years of experience in data management with a proven track record of success in a leadership role (or strong potential for leadership). In-depth knowledge of data management principles, methodologies, and best practices. Experience developing and implementing data governance frameworks. Strong understanding of data lifecycle management. Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team. Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in SQL and data management tools (e.g., data warehousing, data lakes, data quality tools). Experience with data visualization tools (a plus).
