ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This position includes the following duties and responsibilities, other duties may be assigned. Interact with diagnostic testing facilities and vendors to understand integration needs and execute on integration projectsDesign and develop interfaces to meet the requirements given constraints such as limited client resources, time deadlines, and technological impedimentsDesign and develop interfaces to work in conjunction with the Atlas Outerware suite, this requires developing a robust working knowledge of the interaction of interfaces between EMRs, LIS & HIS systems and the Atlas Outerware suiteAnalyze and document interface specifications and implementation details as per Atlas documentation requirementsTest, deploy, and validate the interfacesProvide second and third tier support, as needed, during the regular working hoursProvide technical support to client projects and to other department employees Experience and Skills: Bachelor Degree or comparable professional experience1- 2 years related work experience, Healthcare IT experience requiredProficient in HL-7 standards and interface toolsFamiliarity with XML, XSLT, C # is a plus. Working experience in any coding language is preferred.Familiarity with connectivity methods such as MLLP sockets, FTP and file sharingProficient understanding of physician offices and laboratory systems and workflowWorking knowledge in MS Excel and MS WordThe ability to proficiently manage numerous priorities in a fast paced environmentThe ability to work independentlyThe ability to share knowledge with others, to mentorExcellent analytical, problem-solving skills: the ability to analyze and interpret data quickly and efficiently to resolve issues and/or design solutionsExcellent English written and verbal communication skills Key Skills:Interface, HL7, HL-7, "Interface Developer", "Interface Analyst”, “Interface", “XML”, “XSLT”
