Description : Develop and implement IT asset management policies, procedures, and workflows. Manage the procurement process for IT assets, including vendor selection, negotiation, and purchasing. Maintain accurate records of IT assets, including hardware, software, licenses, and contracts. Conduct regular audits of IT assets to ensure compliance with licensing agreements and regulatory requirements. Monitor asset utilization and performance to identify opportunities for optimization and cost savings. Coordinate asset deployments, installations, and configurations to ensure efficient use of resources. Collaborate with IT teams to track and manage asset-related incidents, changes, and service requests. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to support asset management activities. Assist in the development and implementation of asset tracking and management systems, such as IT asset management software. Provide training and support to end-users on asset management policies, procedures, and tools. Prepare reports and presentations on asset management metrics, trends, and performance for management review. Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in IT asset management.
