Assistant Manager (Retail EBO Accounts)


We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to join our team and oversee the financial operations related to our retail Exclusive Brand Outlets (EBOs). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with specific experience in managing accounts payable, vendor reconciliation, expenses analysis and financial reporting.


Responsibilities:


  • of Monthly Management Information System (MIS) and presentations to provide insights into financial performance.
  • controlling of books of accounts payable, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • the recording and analysis of expenses related to store retail and franchisee vendors, including rent, CAM (Common Area Maintenance), commission, AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract), maintenance, service, etc.
  • of vendor accounts to ensure discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly.
  • the payment process for vendors and franchisees, ensuring timely and accurate disbursement of funds.
  • with auditors during the annual audit process, providing necessary documentation and support as required.
  • of monthly Profit and Loss (P&L) statements for retail stores to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts for EBOs & Track budget performance against actual results, investigate variances, and provide explanations for deviations.


Qualifications:


  • degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA / MBA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • experience in a similar role, with a focus on retail accounting and financial management.
  • in accounting software and MS Office suite, with advanced Excel skills.
  • analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • of retail industry trends and accounting best practices is a plus.
