Data Science Senior Advisor

What you’ll achieve As a Data Science Senior Advisor, you will be responsible for contributing to business strategy and influence decision making based on information gained from deep dive analysis. You will produce actionable and compelling recommendations by interpreting insights from complex data sets. You will design processes to consolidate and examine unstructured data to generate actionable insights. You will also partner with business leaders, engineers and industry experts to construct predictive models, algorithms and probability engines.You will:Collaborate with internal and external teams to understand customer requirements. Educate, demonstrate, guide, and enable the application of machine learning and AI in various services-based use casesDevelop and apply a broad range of techniques and theories from statistics, machine learning, and business intelligence to deliver actionable business insightsDevelop and drive testing of algorithms efficacy for differing analytical use-cases. Here’s what we are looking for with this role:Essential Requirements8 to 12 years of related work experience with advanced statistical skills and appropriate Mathematical knowledgeSolid in SQL, skilled in Python or R ( and other job-related programming languages) to implement statistical and machine learning models (Recommenders, Prediction, Classification, Clustering, etc.) in big data and Cloud environments, including Azure or AWSGood understanding of business environment and industry trendsAbility to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, understand business challenges and translate them into technical solutionsGood communication and problem-solving skills and being customer focusedDesirable RequirementsFamiliarity with streaming/messaging frameworks (e.g. Kafka, rabbitmq, zeromq), knowledge and work experience in Graph databases, web analytics and online customer journey data is preferredExperience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), web technologies and frameworks (e.g., HTTP/REST/GraphQL, Flask, Django) and skilled in programming language like Java, or Javascript
