R&D Knowledge Management - Deputy Manager

OverviewThis role will join the R&D GBS Knowledge Management team out of Hyderabad and support the organization in developing enhanced knowledge management capabilities by collecting and storing documentation (, project output and market research), cataloging knowledge, and sharing knowledge on a recurring basis with stakeholders.The role will support the Research & Development (R&D) organization in PepsiCo only so the content stored, tagged, managed will relate to our business lines of foods, food ingredients, nutrition, packaging, packaging materials, food processing and related equipment. ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with stakeholders across global R&D to determine knowledge management needs, and executing on solutions such as supporting Communities of Practice (websites, wiki’s, portal pages, sharepoint, libraries)Own the business process of capturing R&D project learnings through formalized methods, ensuring explicit and tactic knowledge is capture, and shared in an enterprise-wide repository easily searched by others. Ensure all requests are processed, documented, and delivered within defined SLAs Store documents in the defined structure and record / catalogue findings with key stakeholders as appropriate Test, implement, and update shared information environment/internal knowledge repositoriesDisseminate knowledge developed in prior period to relevant stakeholders on a recurring basis through communications, dashboards such as Power BI, etc QualificationsProficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Sharepoint (expertise)Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and communication skills to capture work details and project learningsStrong understanding of knowledge management, request management or content management, content curation, indexing, cataloging, digital libraries or repositories, and taxonomy development/controlled vocabulary (automated methods of document creation and meta tagging) Ability to manage time effectively across multiple priorities and projects to ensure requests are delivered in a timely mannerExperience working in a large global CPG company, with understanding of the CPG/Food/Beverage performance outputs and measures; or related industries such as Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, and Life SciencesFluent in English Bachelor’s degree required, librarian or library experience a plus (computer science, library science, or business degree)Prior experience of working in a global shared services environment preferredProven track record of on-time delivery, great communication and organizational skills, and identifying and championing new initiatives for knowledge management and process improvement
