Key Responsibilities:
Application of PQCDSM (Productivity, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, and Morale):
- Productivity: Enhance productivity through efficient use of resources, streamlining processes, and minimizing downtime.
- Quality: Maintain and improve product quality by adhering to quality control standards and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Cost: Monitor and control production costs, implement cost-saving measures, and ensure efficient use of materials and resources.
- Delivery: Ensure timely delivery of products by coordinating with different departments and managing production schedules effectively.
- Safety: Promote a safe working environment, enforce safety protocols, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Morale: Foster a positive work environment, encourage teamwork, and address employee concerns to maintain high morale.
GMP/GHP Compliance:
- Ensure all production activities comply with GMP and GHP standards.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain hygiene and safety standards.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Monthly audits as per GMP/GHP checklist.
Product and Packaging Quality:
- Monitor product quality at various stages of production.
- Implement quality control procedures and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Oversee packaging processes to ensure product integrity and compliance with packaging standards.
- Close supervision on Batch preparation
Raw Material Yield and Process Wastages:
- Monitor and analyze raw material usage and process wastages.
- Implement strategies to optimize raw material yield and reduce wastages.
- Maintain records of raw material usage and wastage for continuous improvement.
Raw Material Storage Norms:
- Ensure raw materials are stored according to established norms and standards.
- Monitor storage conditions and manage inventory to prevent spoilage and contamination.
- Conduct regular inspections of storage facilities.
- Monitoring of conversion % of Fresh Raw materials.
Training of Workers:
- Develop and deliver training programs for workers on GMP, GHP, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Ensure workers are knowledgeable about production processes and quality requirements.
- Maintain training records and assess the effectiveness of training programs.
Packaging Material Wastages:
- Monitor packaging material usage and identify Node wise wastage %.
- Implement measures to minimize packaging material wastages.
- Work with the procurement team to ensure optimal use of packaging materials.
Final Product Net Weight Validation:
- Ensure the final product meets the specified net weight requirements through random validation of Net weight and recording of same.
- Conduct regular checks and validations of product weights during and after the production process.
- Address any discrepancies and implement corrective measures as needed.
Preparation for Next-Day Manufacturing:
- Supervise the preparation activities for the next day's manufacturing.
- Ensure all materials, equipment, and resources are ready for the production schedule.
- Coordinate with different departments to ensure seamless production operations.
Worker Safety:
- Ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety training and Mock drills.
- Address any safety concerns/Potential Hazard or Near miss incidents promptly and effectively.
- Ensure all workers are using necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) required for their tasks.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure compliance with PPE usage policies.
RM/PM Quality Deviation:
- Identify and highlight issues related to raw material (RM) and packaging material (PM) quality deviations to concerned teams.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to avoid recurrence of quality deviations.
Cost-Saving Approaches:
- Identify opportunities for cost-saving in the manufacturing section.
- Implement efficient processes and optimize resource usage to reduce costs without compromising quality.
- Monitor and report on cost-saving initiatives and their impact.
Superior Quality Products:
- Ensure that all products meet the highest quality standards.
- Implement continuous improvement processes to enhance product quality.
- Focus on delivering superior quality products to consumers.
Handling of Consumer Complaints:
- Act promptly on consumer complaints related to product and packaging quality.
- Investigate the root cause of complaints and implement corrective actions which are documented.
- Communicate effectively with consumers to address their concerns and ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Education: B.Tech (Mechanical/Electrical)
- Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in an Operations role within the production or manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of GMP, GHP,5S, quality control procedures, and production processes.
- Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in GMP, GHP, or quality management are a plus.
