Principal Solutions Engineer (Accounting Systems, Finance & Revenue Management)


We're looking for a seasoned Subject Matter Expert in Financial Reporting and Accounting to join our Product Support team. Champion customer success by providing expert guidance and innovative solutions, leveraging your deep Accounting knowledge and Financial Reporting principles, integration expertise, and passion for financial efficiency.


Responsibilities


  • Utilize your extensive experience navigating intricate Accounting systems (ideally with platforms like Xero, QuickBooks, & NetSuite) to deliver strategic guidance, expert support, and innovative solutions.
  • Leverage financial reporting expertise to guide customers and proactively identify potential issues.
  • Be the go-to expert for seamless connections between our software and leading Accounting platforms, tackling integration challenges and deciphering any inconsistencies in reported data.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to develop and implement innovative solutions. Be the voice of your customers.
  • Craft clear knowledge base articles and training materials for self-sufficiency. Mentor and coach junior team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise to foster their professional growth.


Qualifications


  • Have 4+ years of successful experience in enterprise Accounting system support or consulting (ideally with Xero, QuickBooks, Sage Intacct or NetSuite).
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of financial reporting principles and standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS) and embrace continuous learning in Accounting and financial management.
  • Combine deep Accounting and Financial Reporting expertise with exceptional communication and empathy to provide tailored solutions that address individual customer challenges.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with APIs, front-end technologies like Javascript, and tools like Postman for troubleshooting and testing.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, act with a sense of urgency and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Possess a keen eye for detail and troubleshooting skills to address integration issues and discrepancies in reported data.
  • Bachelor's, Master’s or a Professional degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Schedule Flexibility: Maintain a flexible schedule to adapt to 24/7 support requirements.
