What does the job entail?
The job opening is in the Actuarial modelling team which works primarily on the Life insurance software – Prophet and DCS. The team works closely with all teams in the actuarial department to troubleshoot their problems as well as model any cashflows they might need
Roles and Responsibilities:
The role will involve assisting the current modelling team to-
- Model new products, accumulations and structures on Prophet (Cashflow software)
- Correct errors, model efficiency features and other corrections that the user teams may request
- Testing model changes and checks on impacts. Regression testing the results
- Assisting in responding to model queries by peer reviewer
- Creation of Model Point Files using DCS software and making changes to DCS Code
- Release and checking of monthly production models
- Other ad hoc share holder reporting tasks
Work Experience/Qualification
- 0 to 5 months for Intern (Minimum 3 papers cleared)
- Greater than 6 months for Sr. Associate (Minimum 4-5 papers cleared)
