Your role and responsibilities: As a Software Developer Specialist, your focus will be developing and implementing software solutions primarily using Java 8/11/17. Besides working closely with your colleagues in Bangalore, you will also work closely with Nasdaq teams in other countries.Crafting solutions and writing good quality code that solves difficult problems in a highly distributed system with extreme demands on resilience and qualityParticipate in technical design reviews, functional specification reviews, develop project estimates, schedules, test plans, and code reviewsProactively identify and resolve potential problems/issues including authoring of technical specificationsConduct performance testing, review results, identify bottlenecks, and profile codeWe expect you to have :At least 6-8 years of software development experience Solid understanding in Java programming language and backend development.Experience of working in an Agile teamUnderstanding of distributed systemsPassion for building phenomenal products and delivering to business and customersGreat understanding of code versioning tools, such as GITGreat knowledge of CI/CD pipeline with Gitlab, JenkinsSolid understanding of Linux and scriptingExperience building large-scale business critical applicationsEducation Qualification: Bachelor/Master in computer science.It would be great if you have: Knowledge of Container Technologies - Kubernetes, DockerExperience working in a cloud environment (AWS or Azure)Experience as a scrum masterExperience from the financial industryDoes it sound like you?
